The Film
TEN COUNT is an inspirational 90 min documentary that explores mental health and the redemptive power of sport.
Starring Dwayne 'The Rock" Johnson and a host of other world-renowned athletes, Ten Count tries to de-stigmatise mental illness and charts the incredible comeback of ex-Premier league soccer player turned boxer Leon McKenzie and his epic, award-winning last ever professional fight.
Directed by BAFTA long-listed filmmaker Nathanael Wiseman and produced by award-winning film and TV production company Redeeming Features, the film will be released to worldwide audiences in early 2023.

Ten Count Educational World Tour!
In partnership with Sundance winning filmmaker Patrick Creadon’s
Crossroads Entertainment
In September 2023 Ten Count will screen at a host of high schools, colleges and universities across North America, the U.K. and Europe.
Followed by panel discussions, forums and Q&As with local mental health advocates, faculty members and Ten Count ambassadors.
Each event is free to staff and students and will provide a safe space for open and honest conversations around mental health issues, such as:
- Addiction
- Depression
- Anxiety
- PTSD
- Suicide
- Self-help
Our aim is to help destigmatise, inspire and further the conversation on mental health.

The film played in competition at The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival 2022 with a gala screening + Q&A hosted by World Netball Champion: Bianca Chatfield, in partnership with Australian mental health charity Gotcha 4 Life.
